Hello and Welcome to our Travel Adventures Blog!
Who we are:
Rex is the COO for PCA Technology Solutions, an MSSP based in Little Rock, AR. Michele is a small business consultant. We have two adult children, recently grown and partially flown. Our three cats and one dog wait not so patiently on our return home!
Why write this blog?
We decided to chronicle our epic adventure here, both to journal it for ourselves, and also to share it with family and friends along the way.
Why are we on this adventure?
Thanks to Rex's company, he earned a one-month "sabbatical" for being an employee for over 10 years. At the same time, it was the first time in 20+ years that we were not caring for an elderly family member, and no longer have kids in K-12 school who need us at home. Plus, our now adult children are pretty self-sufficient and are local, so they can take care of our house and pets while we are gallivanting across the globe! Bonus!
Both Michele & Rex grew up traveling, but Michele's travels with Up With People in the early 90's took her to 6 countries in Europe over 5 months, and she has always dreamed of returning. With the new extended vacation time due to the sabbatical, they decided it was the perfect time to introduce Rex to Europe!
